In a few weeks, the mailing industry will come together at the National Postal Forum (NPF) in Indianapolis, IN. From Sunday, June 2nd through Wednesday, June 5th, attendees will attend classes, meet with vendors, and hear from US Postal Service (USPS) executives. It’s a packed agenda.
The Berkshire Company has partnered with the NPF to create the Mail Center Manager Course on Wednesday, June 5th. After three days of learning about postal initiatives, industry trends and innovative technology, we’re focusing on your most important resource – you!
Working with successful leaders and coaches, we’ve developed five unique workshops designed to help you grow personally and professionally. Instructors will include:

Attendees will learn about the importance of building and maintaining your business and personal networks. That expanding the definition of “team” doesn’t happen by accident. As you grow, you’ll understand the power of communicating and applying the 3 R's within your company. Outside your company, your brand should evolve as you grow in your lives and careers. That evolution begins with acknowledging your authentic self.
To earn the official Mail Center Manager Growth Certificate, you must attend all five classes on Wednesday, June 5th:
- Period 11 – Grow Through the Power of Connections
- Period 12 – Grow Through Expanding Your Team
- Period 13 – Grow and Add Value to Your Employer
- Period 14 – Grow Through Self-Branding
- Period 15 – Grow Through Self-Actualization
Lois and Mark will also be presenting other classes at the NPF. On Tuesday, June 4th, Lois will be leading a panel entitled Leadership Looks Good on You. Other panel members include Kim Brennan (United Health Group), Dana Fields (Bank of America), Cathy Leibrock (Discover Financial Services), Moira Mach (GrayHair Software) and Mindy McClellan (Discover Financial Services).

As always, we’re starting our NPF experience with the Habitat for Humanity Build on Saturday, June 1st. Twenty-four volunteers will be spending the day working on the construction of a new home for a local family.
