In the age of PayPal, Cash App and Venmo, people still send cash through the mail. The US Postal Service (USPS) posted an update to the Domestic mail Manual (DMM), requiring that all commercial cash transactions over $500 must be sent via Registered Mail. The USPS plan to combine many Destination Delivery Units (DDUs) into Sort and Delivery Centers (S&DC) has been under way for about a year. The PRC opened this Public Inquiry to provide a forum to seek additional information about the planned S&DCs, as well as other planned initiatives associated with the USPS 10-Year Plan.

DeJoy, concerns a mail carrier at a small Pennsylvania post office who refused to work Sundays delivering packages.
