2019 Full Crew
In less than 9 weeks, leaders in the mailing industry will be gathering at the National Postal Forum (NPF) – April 26-29, 2020 at the beautiful Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

The mailing industry continues to evolve, and mailing professionals need to stay informed to be successful. At the NPF, that knowledge may be gained in educational sessions, from the vendors in the exhibit hall, or from fellow professionals in the many networking opportunities. Different paths that all lead to success on the journey to innovation.

The General Session on Monday morning is the opportunity for US Postal Service senior leadership to address the attendees. Earlier this year, Postmaster General (PMG) Megan Brennan delayed her announced retirement while the Board of Governors continues the search for her replacement. We don’t know if there will be an announcement before the NPF, but that would be an exciting add-on to an already packed four days.

With the convention facilities at the Orlando World Center Marriott, attendees will be able to enjoy the entire show under one roof. Maureen Goodson, the Executive Director of the NPF, told us, “We’re excited about returning to Orlando after 6 years. The NPF in 2019 drew over 4,000 attendees, and this year’s registration is running higher compare to the same point last year. It’s going to be a great event!”

Mark Fallon, The Berkshire Company’s president, has been an instructor at NPF for 25 years. This year, he’ll be co-leading the following classes:

  • Leadership in the Age of Robots: How to Be a Better Human Being (Sunday 9:00 – 10:00)
  • NPF Orientation Session (Sunday 1:30 – 2:30)
  • Boot Camp for Mail Center Managers, Part 1 (Monday 11:00 – 12:00)
  • Renewing Your PCC Passion (Monday 1:30 – 2:30)
  • Leadership Best Practices and How to Apply Them to Your Job (Monday 4:00 – 5:00)
  • Boot Camp for Mail Center Managers, Part 2 (Tuesday 11:00 – 12:00)

As we have in the past, The Berkshire Company will be sponsoring the Habitat for Humanity build on Saturday, April 26, 2020. We’re excited to partner with the NPF and the Greater Orlando & Osceola County Habitat for Humanity to coordinate the events. This year, we’ll be working at a new construction job site. We’ll know more about our exact activities in a few weeks, so stay tuned.

Round-trip transportation, breakfast and lunch will be provided by the NPF. There’s a $25 non-refundable fee to participate, and all fees collected will be donated to the Greater Orlando & Osceola County Habitat for Humanity.

I’ve heard from several past participants that they’ve already signed up for the Habitat Build. You can reserve your spot on the crew on the NPF website. After registering for the conference, please remember to select “Networking Events”. If you’ve already registered, you can edit your existing registration and add the event.

Every journey begins with a single step – make sure your next step towards innovation brings you to the 2020 NPF in Orlando!
